Sueño

A man embarks on a journey to meet his mother, a legendary flamenco dancer whose fatal sleep disorder is deteriorating her mind and body to death. In Madrid, he learns that dying is part of life, but suffering shouldn’t be. And as he witnesses her worsening, he also becomes instrumental in helping her find long-awaited peace and restfulness.

Hangman Film Trivia
-Shot in 10 days at a local park in Porter Ranch CA. The director wrote the premise overnight and began shooting with the cast a day or two later. 

-All cast members are “completion of the art” students under director Bryan Sloyer who is the head martial arts instructor of “Balintawak LA”. 

-All cast and crew are working stuntmen and women in the film industry and have been on shows such as: Argylle, The Brothers Sun, Cobra Kai, Rebel Moon, Mulan, Westworld, and Daredevil: Born Again, Logan, Aquaman, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Road House.

-As per tradition, the action was choreographed on the day and then performed. 

-This is Director Bryan Sloyer’s 38th action short. His other shorts can be viewed on his YouTube channel at Sloyerstunts.

-Bryan Sloyer has been shooting action pieces since the early 2010’s, having established himself as a competent independent action director in both the indie action community and in the stunt industry.  

-The film was shot on a Sony a7siii and several Gmaster lenses. The film was edited in Adobe Premiere.

Tomorrow I Die

Pregnant Irma retreats to their cottage in the middle of the forest. The girl is possessed by strange thoughts: she feels that she will die the next day. The date coincides with the date of his mother's death - she also died on her 34th birthday. Irma doesn't want to be alone on the upcoming anniversary, so she invites her half-brother and her best girlfriend. But more and more inexplicable events follow one another, and it's not so much a fever dream. It looks that something really will happen to Irma.
