Short
Following a recent sighting of her office crush on a dating app on the eve of his leaving party, an overthinking millennial searches for reassurance that her feelings are reciprocated before it's too late.
Sadhbh is many things but mainly, to her, she is fat. After seeing the love of her life on a dating app, Sadhbh is too crippled by self-doubt to swipe right. Instead, in a bid to summon confidence, she searches for signs that her feelings are reciprocated. This quest is hindered by The Ghosts of Dating Apps, a manifestation of her own inner thoughts in the form of the riff-raff she has seen on dating apps. Can she bring herself to believe that he feels the same way? In a society awash with fatphobia, finding this belief is harder than it seems.
